of the benefits of partnering with the world's oldest and largest track
and field event, The Penn Relays.
The Penn Relays is an event as unique to its
sport as it is unique to the City of Philadelphia. The Penn Relays is an
international event that is anticipated by the global track & field
community. More than 100,000 spectators attend The Penn Relays each year
(113,392 this past April), including crowds of close to 50,000 on Saturday
(49,981 this past April), on the final day of The Penn Relays. The 116
Penn Relays will take place from April 22-24, 2010.
The athletes range in age from under eight to
over 80. Each year, during some 33 hours of competition on the last Thursday,
Friday and Saturday of April, more than 425 races will be run, an average of
more than one race every five minutes. Participants are roughly 50/50 in the
mix of males and females. Nearly 90% of the participants are in the age
range of 12-25 years of age.
The Relays have consistently attracted a
diverse fan base with many fans traveling from all over the East Coast and
Caribbean islands to attend; the event draws a multi-cultural mix of track and
field fans.

attendees listed an annual household income of $50,000+ and 20% of attendees
listed above $100,000 in annual household income.
